More than 650 children from 5 South American countries participated in the campaign "I Know and I Express my Opinion About Sendai".

The "More Education, Less Risk" project, implemented by UNESCO, Plan International and Save the Children, co-funded by the Directorate-General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection of the European Commission (DG ECHO), asked children from Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay and Argentina on the Sendai Framework.

Danieli is from Paraguay and has travelled from the department of Caaguazú to share how the process of dissemination and consultation of the Sendai framework has been and she will also tell us the main ideas that have been gathered from this process.

The children of South America indicate their interest and the importance of being heard, of participating in the decisions that affect their lives and of being part of the solutions, from their family and school to the establishment of global pacts Such as Sendai.

"Learning, knowing, participating, integrating, collaborating, making, feeling, giving opinions, supporting, are not magic words but they can change the world" - Taken from NNA regional pronouncement on Sendai.

Danieli does part of the work of the youth participation carried out by Plan International in Paraguay, "Niñas al Poder (Girl Power)" and she has had the opportunity to be the "Minister of Education and Culture" on October 11, during the celebration of the International Day of the Girl, date in which young leaders have the opportunity to be in charge of positions of interest
