Exhibition area (Market Place) from March 7 – 9, 2017


The Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in the Americas

(RP17) will provide the opportunity for registered participant organizations to showcase their work related to disaster risk reduction. The Market Place will be located in the central hall of the Regional Platform conference center and will contain 26 booths available for participating organizations. It will run between Tuesday, March 7 and Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the following times:


  • Tuesday, March 7 - 11:00-19:00

  • Wednesday, March 8 - 08:00-19:00

  • Thursday, March 9 - 08:00-14:45


The Market Place is open to the following registered organizations:


  • • Private

  • • Canadian Government (Federal/Provincial/Territorial/Municipal)

  • • Government from the Americas

  • • International Governmental Organizations

  • • International Organizations

  • • Academia

  • • Non-Governmental Organizations

  • • Indigenous Organizations


Showcasing your work in the Market Place area will provide your organization with the opportunity to be recognized as a contributor to resilience at the RP17 and to be featured on the RP17 website.
