Registration is open for the Ignite Stage. What is the Ignite Stage? The IGNITE Stage is a space where Regional Platform participants will have up to 20 minutes to present new projects or initiatives on the subject of disaster risk reduction. The objective of this space is to complement and expand the range of topics discussed at the Regional Platform beyond those presented in the main sessions and side events. To proceed with your registration, please click here. Apply now for a space: Deadline January 15th, 2017. (Registration is subject to approval by the organizers.) Preference will be given to short and interactive sessions as well as new topics. Those selected will be notified on January 31, 2017. The selected proposals will be allocated a space of 20 minutes in the IGNITE stage. Theme: (Selection will be made according to the 4 priorities of the Sendai Framework below)

Promotion of approved presentations: To help promote the approved presentations, information notes prepared by the participating organizations will be available both on the Regional Platform website, as well as on the corporate website and Facebook page of UNISDR - The Americas. The notes should be brief and should draw participants’ interest. It is suggested that you use the template below: Template to elaborate notes of promotion of the IGNITE stage To help you prepare your notes, please consult this useful tool: ABC for the elaboration of notes We can also publish videos and photographs on our social media accounts, which will support the promotion of your presentations for the Ignite Stage. Publish your videos and/or photos in social media and send the links with a brief description to Humberto Jaime jaime@un.org Due to space issues on our mail server, please do not send videos or photos as attachments.
