The Riskland DVD: Promoting a culture of disaster prevention

Riskland is a board game focusing on disaster prevention, including educational messages, which help children to learn what are the good practices that can reduce the impact of disasters and what are the inadequate practices that can increase the vulnerability of communities.

A 5-minute DVD has been produced by UNICEF and ISDR Secretariat to illustrate the use of the game throughout the Latin American and Caribbean region as well as its impact as an educational tool.
