Riskland in Kichwa and Papiamento With the purpose of serving the community at large, especially children from different sectors at risk from natural disasters, World Vision/Ecuador considered it both convenient and necessary to translate the board game entitled "Riskland" into Kichwa. By doing this, the board game will contribute to the prevention of the impact of disasters and, at the same time, educate children on certain practices that may reduce their vulnerability in the event of a disaster. In addition, the board game has been adapted and translated into Kichwa so that people, especially children from other cultures in Ecuador, have access to this information. This makes the work of this institution real and effective within an inter-cultural environment. On the other hand, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, translated the Riskland Game in Papiamento, a specific dialect used in the Netherlands Antilles of the Caribbean.
