Susana Irene Fuentez Riquelme, is an Environmental Engineer specialized in Risk Prevention with more than 15 years of experience in the private sector working in  risk prevention, both nationally and internationally. Mrs. Fuentez has worked in different countries and with different multinationals, with a global perspective, which makes it possible for her to undertake large projects, with a different risk prevention perspective.


   
 
 

This strategic vision of reality, allows her to manage the Precorp company, which operates in various countries in Latin America, coupled with a need for continuous training on risk issues, which have led to certification and training in the best European and Latin American centers to become a specialist in business continuity and ISO management systems for the global private sector.

Masters in Environmental Management, Consulting and Auditing, with a Minor in Environmental Engineering and Renewable Energy. The concept of “resilience” is imprinted in the DNA of Susana Fuentez Riquelme, who has been managing in private environments. The events in her Chile and the need for Resilient Cities moved Susana to focus on raising awareness of “resilience” in society and generate advances towards a more resilient country.

The high degree of social commitment, both at the individual and business level, have led Susana to further her education and invest in herself and pursue specialized training in Risk Reduction and Sustainable Local Development of the DELNET Program of the International Training Centre (ITC) of the International Labour Organization - ILO / UN, and acquire a personal commitment to the UN. Susana intensively joins in the UN as an advocate of the Making Cities Resilient Campaign, in order to contribute her experience, knowledge, personal contacts and a strong commitment to a safer world.
